The 1390 Super Duke GT is finally due in dealers in early 2027, after its original EICMA 2024 unveiling. KTM is bringing two versions: the GT and an EVO with Automated Manual Transmission. Both keep the sport-touring brief, with a large LC8 V-twin, an adjustable screen and suspension that can change its damping electronically.
The GT and GT EVO gearbox split
The engine is a 1,350cc, 75-degree V-twin, with KTM quoting 145Nm. The standard GT uses a six-speed transmission and a conventional clutch lever. EVO adds AMT, allowing the rider to choose between manual gear selection and fully automatic shifting while the system handles clutch operation. The gearbox choice is the defining difference between the two versions.

Semi-active WP suspension
WP APEX Semi-Active Technology controls the suspension. The fork uses a through-rod design, while the rear shock combines electronically controlled damping with hydraulic preload adjustment. A braced single-sided swingarm completes the chassis layout. For a bike expected to switch between solo rides and loaded touring, that ability to adjust the suspension is more relevant than a simple list of riding modes.

The touring equipment
The GT's 834mm seat, adjustable handlebar position and high/low screen settings are the practical side of the package. KTM has reworked the seats for long days, and the separate pillion seat is part of the standard layout. Michelin Power 6 tyres are fitted in 120/70-17 and 190/55-17 sizes, while the brake package uses 320mm front discs and a 240mm rear disc.

An 8.8-inch touchscreen provides full offline onboard map navigation, with USB-C charging and an integrated SP Connect mount. That gives the rider a navigation option that doesn't rely on a live mobile-data connection. Rain, Street and Sport settings sit alongside a configurable mode.

US and EU prices
The early-2027 dealer arrival is the significant update to the GT story. We don't yet have confirmed US or German prices for the GT and GT EVO. The EVO's AMT will be a meaningful part of the buying decision once those local prices are available.
