Bimota's KB399 takes the brand into a smaller-capacity sportbike class with a 399cc inline-four, Akrapovič silencer and Brembo Stylema brakes. First announced in March, it is part of the EICMA display ahead of expected December deliveries. The standard bike and ES share the engine and front suspension but differ in rear suspension and bodywork.
The 399cc four
The liquid-cooled four claims 79hp (58.7kW). Fuel injection uses four 34mm throttle bodies, with a 12.3:1 compression ratio. The dedicated titanium Akrapovič silencer is standard, giving the high-revving engine a suitably compact exhaust rather than leaving it as an accessory purchase.

Showa, Brembo and the ES changes
Both versions use a fully adjustable 41mm Showa SFF-BP upside-down fork and radial Brembo Stylema calipers. The standard rear shock is a Showa BFRC lite; the ES changes to an Öhlins STX46. Billet aluminium triple clamps and a painted trellis frame put some of the brand's usual material detail into the smaller bike.

The ES adds dry-carbon upper, side and lower fairings, plus machined clip-ons and adjustable footrest assemblies. Its styling follows the larger KB998 Rimini, including winglets, while the engine and chassis dimensions keep the motorcycle in a very different category from that litre-class sibling.

Electronics and deliveries
Electronic equipment includes three-level traction control, power maps, integrated riding modes and a quickshifter. The new Bimota phone app adds settings and ride-log functions, with Android availability first and an iPhone version to follow certification.

Italian deliveries are expected from December 2026. Confirmed Italian retail prices and US pricing and availability remain unconfirmed.
